The Arizona Cardinals are dealing with a back injury to retire David Johnson. He suffered it sometime during the first half of their victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5, but he played the entire game.
He missed the practice on Wednesday and his status for their match 6 this week against the Atlanta Falcons is thus far from uncertain.
Cardiff head coach Kliff Kingsbury will not push him too much.

"He is the type of player that would be a decision on the game, Kingsbury said." We understand that he gets our system, and we can connect him to a day off and feel good about running on a high level. "

Johnson is going to want to play, which is why he didn't come out last week, but back injuries can be severe, so the Cardinals may be without him for the first time since 2017.
