As part of the CARES Act, qualified Americans will receive one-time stimulus payments to help them through financial crises during the coronavirus pandemic.
The questions everyone asks: When do I get my stimulus check? Can I track my stimulus control?
First, the exact moment when you get your check is unclear.
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnunchin previously said that April 1
The Treasury Department told the Washington Post that it expects 50 to 70 million Americans to receive checks by direct deposit by April 15, something other than the draft plan obtained by the magazine.
Still, it would only be for those who filed tax returns in 2019 or 2018, or those for which the federal government already has bank information, such as those who receive Social Security benefits.

If the IRS does not have your direct deposit information and you have to wait for a paper check, they will not start going out until April 24, the report says.
A spokeswoman said the tax authority would first send paper checks to the lowest-income Americans, beginning with those with $ 10,000 or less on April 24.
“Controls for $ 20,000 or less servants would be in the post May 1, followed by those with $ 30,000 on May 8, $ 40,000 on May 15 and continue with $ 10,000 weekly earnings, according to the plan. The IRS plans to issue about 5 million checks each week, ”the report says.
Then those earning close income insurance for the benefit would see checks issued Sept. 4, and the rest – those that the IRS did not have prior tax information – would be issued on Sept. 11.
Treasury previously said it would create a portal so Americans could give their information to the IRS, but it won’t be ready until mid-April. TurboTax created one to get information to the government, but it is not an official IRS tool.
So how can you check when you receive the payment?
From now on, the answer is no.
The IRS has a Where’s My Refund tool. It lets you check your refund status by entering your Social Security number, filing status and the exact amount of your refund.
But there is no new tool for managing stimulus payments. It is expected to be published on the IRS website where you can see updates from the IRS on this and related stimulus topics.
