Tech billionaire and Broadcom founder Henry T. Nicholas III were arrested this week in a Las Vegas hotel with suspicions about drug trafficking, prison reports.
The authorities responded to a conversation from the Encore Hotel on Tuesday night regarding infected in one of their rooms, the Las Vegas Review Journal reported.
Police arrested Nicholas, 59, and a woman as Ashley Fargo, 37, suspected of dealing with cocaine, ecstasy, heroin and methamphetamine.
Nicholas attorney, famous for representing like Paris Hilton, Bruno Mars and Motley Crues singer Vince Neil, said his client was released on his own again.
] Nicholas has had previous efforts with the law.
According to a 2008 accusation cited by the Los Angeles Times, Nicholas was accused of distributing and using drugs on a private flight between Orange County, California and Las Vegas. 1965 9005] These charges were lost in 2010.
Nicholas was founded with Broadcom in 1991 with Henry Samueli. He went down as CEO in 2003, the Times reported.
The California-based semiconductor manufacturer was acquired by Avago Technologies 2015 for $ 37 billion.
Nicholas has allegedly used his wealth to support initiatives to strengthen the victim's rights laws such as California's three-strike felony law and Marsy's Law, named after his sister killed by an ex boyfriend for more than 30 years ago. The latter will be displayed on Nawasan mid-term currency in November.
