Britney Spears told all her Instagram followers what a big fan of Tim Burton’s movies she is. Burton directed classics like Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure, Beetle Juice, Edwards Scissorhands, Ed Wood and the first two Batman movies. But it was a biopic in 2014 that Spears saw for the first time, and it may inspire her to take control of her career back.
Spears shared the post on August 8 with a photo attached Big eyes. Here’s what the film meant to her and how it relates to her career.
This Tim Burton movie could be the Britney Spears story
Big eyes is about the painter Margaret Keene (Amy Adams), known for giving her subjects big eyes. The film depicts her abusive relationship with Walter Keane (Christoph Waltz), who took credit for all his work.

“I saw the movie Big Eyes the other day by of course my favorite director in the whole world @ timburton !!!” Spears wrote. “It’s about a fragile but delightfully eccentric woman who has problems with men, but she is an extraordinary artist who paints children with big eyes 👀👀👀 !!! She’s obviously painting them for her daughter’s love … ”
Spears’ father, James, has been overseeing his career in a court that has ordered conservatism since 2008. Could it be spears related to Keane’s struggle to get her art back?

“The worried man she sees loves fame and handles it better, so he takes all her credit and says he’s doing all the work,” Spears continued. “In the end, she gets tired and recycles her art, which proves that she is really the artist 🎨👩🎨⭐️ !!! Spears takeaway from Big eyes would be good advice in all situations. She has really enjoyed her share of fleeting relationships and low careers. So whether her conservatism or not, it sounds like Spears is moving in a positive direction.

Spears did a photo shoot the day she discovered Big eyes, but did not indicate whether she watched the film before or after the shoot. She managed to capture the Margaret Keane look just with the camera angle.
