RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – The search for Savannah Spurlock has ended.
At a press conference on Thursday afternoon in Richmond, Kentucky State Police confirmed that the remains of the property in Garrard County were Savannah Spurlock.
Spurlock is seen by January 4 and leaves the second bar in Lexington with three men.
One of these men, David Sparks, was arrested and charged with the case early on Thursday.
It came after a relative Alan Sparks, called his lawyer on Wednesday to report the smell of a nasty smell on his property on Fall Lick Road.
Investigators say that besides David Sparks "being the main suspect in a missing survey" led them to seek the property.
When they were looking for the property, the investigators said they found disintegrated human remains.
The remnants were taken to the National Medical Examination Office and were positively identified as Spurlock.
Sparks is loaded with manipulation with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.
He appeared in court in Garrard County on Thursday afternoon, where he did not plead guilty to the charges.
