Borderland’s 3 DLC Patch Notes: Level height increased in update



As promised, Borderlands 3’s next big piece of DLC – Guns, Love and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock – is finally out on all platforms. Alongside the update, developer Gearbox Software shared the full patch notes – and there’s a lot to chew through.

This update for Borderlands 3 is great and packs in an assortment of adjustments from a level raise to game stabilization and much more. However, the main feature is the brand new campaign extension.

In conjunction with the level raise, Patch also comes with three new Guardian Rank skills and encounters the overall achievable Guardian Rank.

The update also makes several improvements in quality of life, such as tackling various bugs that interrupted game development, adjusting weapon damage to make certain manufacturers̵

7; weapons more effective, fixing skills so that they function as intended and so much more. It also seems that based on full note notes below, a quick correction update of some kind may come in the near future.

Borderland 3’s second DLC expansion takes Vault Hunters to the frozen wasteland of Xylourgos where the characters Sir Alistair Hammerlock and Wainwright Jakobs prepare for a beautiful and frigid wedding. The gearbox described the expansion as a “cosmic horror-rom-com”, where the studio sought to “put love back into Lovecraft.”

All this comes as Gearbox extends Borderland 3’s latest limited-time event, Takedown Shakedown. LTE, which disappears on April 2, sees the executives at Maliwan Blacksite dropping more loot than usual.
