Blue Jays fans should be very excited for the future.
Sons of two former MLB stars are currently bashing their way through the minor leagues at a near ridiculous rate, with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. leading the way.
Guerrero showed his power during spring training with a walk-off home run, but Toronto decided to send the 19 year old down to Double-A to fine tune some things.
So far this season, Guerrero has blistered minor league pitching, batting .405 (after recording three more hits Monday) with 20 extra-base hits in 33 games. Guerrero already has six home runs and 38 RBIs.

– Baseball America (@BaseballAmerica) May 15, 2018 While Guerrero is expected to remain in the minors all season, the Blue Jays (21-20) may be forced to make an early call.
Toronto also has Bo Bichette, son of Dante Bichette, who went 3 for 5 Monday and is among the top prospects in baseball. Once the Blue Jays get those two up in MLB, they could be annual postseason threats.
