There will be a “development” Friday in U.S. Attorney John Durham’s investigation in Connecticut investigating the causes of Russia’s investigation, Attorney General William Barr told Fox News’ Sean Hannity in an exclusive interview Thursday.
Barr said the development would not be “groundbreaking”, but would be “an indication that things are moving at the right pace dictated by facts in this inquiry.”

“The other aspect of this is, if people crossed the line, if people involved in that activity violated criminal law, they will be prosecuted. And John Durham is an independent man, very experienced, and his investigation continues rightly. There was some delay. because of COVID, but I am pleased with the progress and I have said that there will be development, significant development, before the election.
“But we do not do this on the election field,” Barr added. “We are aware of the election. We will not do anything inappropriate before the election. But we must not be dictated to by this schedule.
