Avril Lavigne Books First North American Tour in Five Years – Rolling Stone

Avril Lavigne announced her first tour in five years. The fall trip, a 15-day North American run, launches September 14 in Seattle, Washington and winds on October 11 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

A pre-sale starts on Tuesday, June 25 at 10 am local time, and fan registration is available now. A Citi card sale runs from Wednesday, June 26, at 10 am local time until Thursday, June 27, at 10 am local time. General tickets are sold on Friday 28 June at 10:00 local time via her website.

One dollar from each ticket purchase will benefit Avril Lavigne Foundation, which supports people with Lyme disease, serious illnesses or disabilities.

The hunt will support Lavignes February's sixth LP, Head above Water following her self-titled 2013 album. She has released several singles from the record, including the Nicki Minaj collaboration "Dumb Blonde" and the title track, where she tells her own fight with the Lyme disease.

In April, the singer promoted Head over Water by performing "I fell in love with the devil" on the Late Late Show by James Corden .
