The cookbook "1080 Recetas de Cocina" by Simone Ortega is regarded in Spain as a kind of "Bible about everyday Spanish food", comparable to the silver spoon in Italy. An important part of Spanish cuisine is tapas, the small dishes served as aperitif in Spain. "Book of Tapas" (currently only available in English) is an excerpt from the 1,080 recipes, supplemented with new dishes – including chefs like Albert Adrià. It was first shown in 2010 and reissued this year.
