Harald Kapper has already been elected President for the fourth consecutive term of the Association as part of the Annual General Meeting of the Association of the Austrian Internet Industry ISPA. Kapper is the founder and CEO of kapper.net, an Internet provider that specializes in infrastructure solutions and integrated Internet applications.
Natalie Ségur-Cabanac (Hutchison Three Austria), Georg Chytil (next layer), Peter Oskar Miller (HXS) and Christian Panigl (University of Vienna) were also elected to the board. Kurt Einzinger (Netvisual) and Nikolaus Futter (Compass Group) were re-elected by co-option.
"In the coming year, ISPA will deal with many issues coming from the European level. In addition to the Austrian implementation of the hotly debated EU copyright directive, it will also deal with the implementation of the European Electronic Communications Code (EECC) within the framework of the Telecommunications Act 2020 in this country.
