Arrow: Stephen Amell shares Superman's photo from Arrowverse crossover

Last week we received our long-awaited first look at Ruby Rose as Batwoman, and now we have got our unofficial first look at Tyler Hoechlin's superman in this year's Arrowverse crossover, "Elseworlds", using the hero that started it

On Monday Arrow Star Stephen Amell shared a behind-the-scenes image of himself with The Flash s Grant Gustin and Hoechlin, who has a black black version of Superman's costume. (In the series, Superman had a similar, uncompromising outfit when he arose after his lethal battle against Judgment Day, but we doubt this is a scenario Death of Superman .

Instead of their usual red and green threads, they have black pants and boots. Why? The reason is unclear. (It is also worth noting that Amell no longer has Oliver's prison beard.)

Even though everyone in Arrowverse has stayed in mom, what's expected of Elseworlds, who will see Flash (Gustin), Green Arrow (Amell) and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) finally met Gotham City's Batwoman, Arrow showrunner Beth Schwartz killed how it was compared to last year's multiversely-jumping Nazi-filled "Crisis on Earth-X."

"This does not feel like a dark like last season, "Schwartz told EW at CW's fall start party Saturday. "Of course, there were Nazis last season. I definitely think it's much more fun to be in crossover this year."

Schwartz continued to explain how earlier Pilgrimage Marc Guggenheim, who is a consultant on the show this season, has taken the lead on crossover. "I call him now – I thought about this term -" showrunner of the crossover episodes "," she said. "He has been huge, big on the top, and he's really on the way to these episodes and they'll be amazing."

In addition to boasting Batwoman debut and Superman appearance in all three parts, "Elseworlds" Grimm s Elizabeth Tulloch comes as Lois Lane; Appointed Survivor s LaMonica Garrett as a display; Cassandra Jean Amell as Nora Fries; and Jeremy Davies as a potentially insane Arkham Asylum doc, which is why Arrowverse's Trinity comes to Gotham City in the first place.

"Elseworlds" begins Sunday, December 9th with The Flash at 8 pm; Continue Monday, Dec 10, 8 o'clock with Arrow ; and finish the following night at 8 o'clock with Supergirl .
