Due to a security error, Microsoft recommended users of Windows 10 version 1809, that did not install the October 15 update the second this month, as it may cause security issues on devices that use Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP).
The announcement made by the company on its support page recommends that not all users install the update fix "KB4520062", which is not mandatory download. This could have helped not all units have been affected. The error occurs on Windows 10 PCs version 1809 and the version for Windows servers 2019.
The reason they recommend that this update is not downloaded is that you can disable the advanced service tools Threat Protection (ATP) from Windows Defender, the system's antivirus which causes it to stop sending information to check the security of the device.
"The ATP service can stop running and send report data. Error 0xc0000409 can also be displayed in MsSense.exe Event Viewer," they explained from Microsoft.
From the company they recommend that no one download the update "KB4520062", while they continue to investigate the problem and are working to fix it in mid November.
