Rizzo and Castellanos each belted a solo homer in the first inning off Giants righty Tyler Beede, who later allowed another shot to Rizzo in the third. That gave the Cubs first baseman four homers in his past five games and 25 on the season. Rizzo is now the seventh player in Cubs history to have at least 25 home runs in six or more seasons.
