Yesterday, Nintendo rolled out version 1.2.1 of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. According to the Japanese support site, it fixed some bugs. Since then, the English patch notes have been uploaded:
General Updates – Addressed issues to further ensure a pleasant gaming experience.
So what “questions” have been raised, exactly? As suspected, the recently discovered duplication forgets have been posted. This includes both the tables and mailbox glitches, and a number of YouTubers have now uploaded videos showing how these glitches no longer work.
The Nintendo-focused YouTube channel Blaines summarized:
Utilization without hacks … has actually been fixed. It includes mailbox utilization … table utilization … and everything else … I think no cut across the borders ̵1; all this is corrected, so the economy – at least for honest gambling people – is back to normal.
If you do not want your experience to be affected by these changes, it is as simple as that not performs the latest update. The disadvantage is that you can no longer play locally or online with others.
