Angelina Jolie has just added the journalist to her CV.
The 44-year-old actress and activist joins Time magazine as a contributing editor, announced the publication Wednesday. Joly's pieces focus on focusing "primarily on shift, conflict and human rights" and will be published monthly on the global platforms magazine.
The first part of the humanitarian will be published on World Refugee Day on June 20.
"When we mark World Refugee Day on June 20, it is an illusion to believe that any country can retreat after its borders and only hope that the problem will go. We need leadership and effective diplomacy," Jolie says in a statement. "We need to focus on long-term peace based on justice, rights and accountability for refugees to return home. This is not a soft approach. It is the harder act, but it is the only one that will make a difference The distance between us and the refugees from the past is shorter than we think. "
This is not the first time Maleficent leading lady has written an article for Time . She previously wrote an essay in April on the role of women in the peace negotiations in Afghanistan.
Aside from her Hollywood career, Jolie has made it her mission to help others and work with the UN Refugee Agency. The Sexmor is also a special envoy for the UN Refugee Commissioner, who travels to foreign countries to meet with refugees and lawmakers.  30 PHOTO
