For the first time, Amazon sells directly one of Google's Pixel phones – two of them, actually. The leading online retailer has started offering Pixel 3A and 3A XL to their respective $ 399 and $ 479 prizes. These are "sold by Amazon.com" in the US, not by a third party Amazon seller. Free shipping to Prime members applies.
It doesn't seem that Amazon is selling the usual Pixel 3 and 3 XL right now. At the end of Verizon's exclusive deal with Google, other US carriers selling both the newer 3A and mid-cycle Pixel 3 units led. Amazon adds Pixel 3A in its unlocked phone line is yet another sign of the improved relationship between itself and Google. Last month, both companies announced a resolution to a stubborn standoff that held YouTube off the Amazon brand TV platform for more than a year. YouTube returns to Fire TV later this year and Amazon will add Chromecast support to its Prime Video mobile app after ignoring the feature earlier.
Buying Pixel 3A or 3A XL via Amazon may not be your best bet right now, though. Dealers, including Best Buy and B&H, still offer $ 1
