On Sunday, the county reported 4,962 confirmed or probable cases, which was an increase of one day of 200. The county also reported eight new hospital admissions but no further deaths. One hundred and ninety-eight people have died from COVID-19 in the county since the pandemic began. Leaders of the health department continue to encourage wearing masks, washing hands and maintaining physical distance from others as a way to keep society safe.
