The bracket is out and the first four are here. This means that it is time for some 2019 predictions. Let's lead to the Midwest region, where North Carolina is the third ACC team to get a top seed.
Tar Heels may be the favorite to do it from Kansas City and move on to Final Four, but it won't be easy.
2019 NCAA tournament prospects: Midwest Region picks, predictions
No. 1 seed: North Carolina (27-6)
UNC started "only" 8-3 and 12-4 before going to a 16 -2-finish in the ACC regular season seats and a seat in the ACC semifinals. Cameron Johnson, Coby White and Luke Maye all averaged at least 1
The other top competitor: No. 2 Kentucky (27-6)
John Calipari and Wildcats need no introduction. They are expected to go far again, especially after falling into Sweet 16 to upset K-State a year ago. Record-Wise it is possible that PJ Washington, Tyler Herro and Wildcats face a trio of strong teams before they even arrive at a possible UNC showdown. If Britain plays Abilene Christian, Wofford and Houston in the first three rounds, it would be against three teams currently holding a total record of 87-13.
Best first round: No. 5 Auburn vs No. 12 New Mexico State
MARCH MADNESS: We chose every first round game
Auburn looked good in the SEC tournament, through Missouri, South Carolina, Florida and Tennessee to win the conference tournament for the first time since 1985. The tiger's masterpiece was an 84-64 route in Tennessee, now a number 2 in the tournament. Auburn scored 15 3-pointers and forced 17 sales to win their eighth consecutive match.
problem? New Mexico State is one of a handful of large-scale AQ teams. Aggies are 30-4 and have not lost since January 3.
Star player ready to destroy your console: Fletcher Magee, Wofford
He is two 3-pointers away from tying Oaklands Travis Bader for career 3 pointers. Magee is at 502 – and he can tie and even break the record well before the first half ends on Thursday. Magee is on average 20.5 points per game while photographing 42.8 percent in the 3rd. He has also been fatal lately. Magee shoots 52.1 percent from distance since February.

Busy Choice: No. 7 Wofford upsets Kentucky
This is a long shot, but Terriers are on the roll. Wofford has the country's longest victory of 20 games after Gonzaga lost to Saint Mary's in the WCC title game last week. Wofford is in the NCAA tournament field for the fifth time since 2010 and is still looking for his first win. But the terriers have been close to pulling off disturbances before. They will be the higher seed against Seton Hall, but would be the great underdog to Britain.
North Carolina (27-6)

Picka: No. 1 North Carolina
As Gonzaga, the UNC was able to take advantage of large early upsets that charge top competitors. Nr. 4 Kansas and No. 5 Auburn has both tough first-round matchups that could clear Tar Heels' way to Elite Eight. No. 2 Kentucky will also not have a simple road. Wofford (or High Scoring Myles Powell and Seton Hall) would be next, plus there's a 31-3 Houston team seeded third.
For all the attention Duke has received since Zion's return, UNC lost only one point in the ACC tournament and beat the blue devils twice earlier in the season. After an early exit last year, UNC will be back in the Final Four.
