2019 Dodge Charger retains its fresh face

The entrance is a little hard to see in this photo, but it is right between the SRT Hellcat logo and the headlight.

Dodge rolls up updated versions of both the charger and the challenger for the 2019 model year. We have already seen some of Challenger's hood and now it's time for the charger to get into the spotlight.

Dodge threw out a teaser for the 201

9 charger today. The Teaser focuses on the front end of the car – especially its grids, which Dodge claims are brand new and better accentuate the car's width.

The most obvious addition is a new air intake duct directly next to the headlight. To demand more air is likely to mean that the new charger and challenger Hellcat will increase over its current 707 horsepower output. After all, Dodge would not wait four years to add more innings if the cars needed them immediately. It's a good sign that this new race of Hellcat will be even more exciting.

In addition to that, no one is sure what to expect. Dodge Demon was only available for a single model year, so maybe part of its kit will pave the way for the permanent Hellcat series. Dodge promises we learn more this summer, which means we probably will not meet 14 straight weeks of teasers as we did for Demon. Thankfully.
